I love this antique header!! It's was perfectly CHIPPY SHABBY in it's original condition but now prettier with mosaic china added! A Fabulous Find and the perfect piece to mosaic. I fell in love with the layers of chippy paint on this door top from a Victorian home here in town. I didn't do a thing to it so it's in the original state. Several colors show thru here and there. The top, back and bottom are not painted and on the front I wanted to let some of the original board showing thru. Very pretty roses were used with some pink stained glass to accent. I added pale pink half marbles along the edges and a vintage pin with little pink silk roses for an extra touch. So much prettier and vivid in person! Very sturdy. Has 2 ring hangers on back for hanging in just that right spot in your shabby home!
Measures 43" long, 6" high. Top ledge is 2" wide.
